On the 24th and 25th of September 2013, the First World Hirudotherapy Congress (WHC) will take place in Moscow, Russia.
The chief task of the Congress is to bring together specialists, applying medicinal leeches with the emphasis on the reasonable and careful approach to abilities of Nature.
The Congress is expected to create an international professional community – the World HirudoTherapy Organization (WHTO), headquartered in Moscow (Russia) and the formation of Regional national Bureau or Branch for the countries-participants. The charter, goals and tasks of the Organization for discussions, additional materials and reediting, will be sent out separately.
The two-day congress will host specialists, practitioners and researchers from many countries. Our great expectation includes presentations of research results in various fields of hirudotherapy, such as, internal diseases, obstetrical and gynecological, veterinary, dentistry, biomedical sciences, medical education and so on. It provides wide opportunities for the exchange of experience, meetings with like-minded persons. It contributes to participants’ qualification and creates opportunities for international cooperation.
